Should towns and cities bear the costs of jailing illegal immigrants?
Answer:
I don't think they should bear the cost if they don't have right to enforce the other laws. I mean they have town meetings that stop half-way houses or shelters because of worry of increase in crime. They limit bar hours or strip clubs. They can refuse to rent to me because I smoke and have a dog but they can't enforce housing codes? They can have rules that won't allow young families in a retirement park but we can't limit as to whether someone is here legally or not? It makes no sense to me what-so-ever. All the responsibility and non of the benefits......
Massachusetts is suing Mexico for their culpability...why make the US public pay at all?
Nope. If they break the law send them back and let THEIR country deal with them.
If Mexico was over-run with undocumented Americans and began to suffer a huge increase in costs, you can bet your butt, they would be crying to the UN for America to have to pay them!
But, that will never happen! Mexico does not give prisoners dental, medical, schooling and all of the other insane things our idiot leaders do!
In Mexico the stance is-"Got Cattle Prod?"
I think cities should contract with the mexican to house the illegals....would be cheaper... then close our borders so they can't return!
Congress is already talking about amnesty...time to start letting them know our fellings ...again

Also Colorado has a Referendum K which is a lawsuit against the US govt. to make them enforce immigration laws. They are hoping other states will join in...please contact your governor & states attorney general and ask them to join in this lawsuit!
right now in Houston there is a big issue with jailing illegal immagrents. if you go to the webiste www.abc13.com there is a article as soon as you log onto the site about this.
THis is one addition earmark of the not so slowly degradation of our AMerican society, in this case as a result of Illegals in our country. I don't see any evidence that any of this is going to change ...we have Democrats in control. The only good thing to say might be that at least we have some group that is different and at the moment we are not sure.
I don't have much hope.
Or educating them or their children?
What is the towns and cities stance on illegal aliens? Are they so called sanctuary cities? Are they "illegal alien friendly" cities?
OR do the communities welcome legal immigrants and discourage illegal aliens?
Or do the cities and states claim one thing, but actually do another thing?
For example, the Great State of Texas has laws that state that to be licensed for certain professions (apprentice plumbers) the applicant has to be either a US Citizen or alien authorized to work in the USA.
Nowever, the question was removed from the application because it "discouraged illegal aliens from getting a license" and thereby cost the Great State of Texas the application fee!
NOT the cities, towns, or even the Feds
The home country of the illegal alien invader reject should be billed
for the air fair to deport them also
If those local municipalities were a part of supporting the illegal immigrant population then yes they should HELP in bearing the cost of jailing those illegal immigrants. But I believe that the State and Federal governments should be kicking in their FAIR share also.
All states should keep locking them up and file a class action suit against mexico
