How long does it take to get your green card once you get to the US after acquiring an immigrant visa?

Answer:
It depends on the office that processes it. Shouldn't be longer than about nine months all told. Work permits take 3-4 months if you do not get them straight away.
not sure about this one.. sorry
Im not sure, but I commend you for immigrating legally. :)

Try typing "United States Immigration Laws" in Google.

Sorry I couldn't help more, good luck and welcome to America! ♥
I ttakes sometimes between 2 to 5 years. It all depends on where you work (LEGALLY) and what kind of visa do you hold now.
There is no chance to get a green card if you are illegal, even for one day.
