How can we emmigrate from USA to Canada?
he is college educated single age 39.
Answer:
Immigration between Canada and US is not as easy as most people think. I am Canadian and am married to an American. I am going through through the process now, and it is hell.
If your son finds employment here and later on becomes a Citizen and sponsers you, that would be a very long process.
What about buying a home in Canada? Legally you can stay for 6 months, investing in property may help you. That may be something you can look into.
The Canada Immigration site will tell you everything you need to know.

Just wait another 6-12 months ...America , Mexico and Canada are all going to be one Union, One government , one border!
Hi,
You better be careful. Although Canada has "free healthcare" they are living proof that you get what you pay for. Canada has much worse critical illness survivor rates and patients awaiting simple operations often wait months on end. Also, a lot of their "best" doctors are here in the USA! Look, lots of Americans at age 62 are caught in the gap between worker health coverage and not being old enough to qualify for Medicare but if you can hold out until reaching age 65, you can enjoy (arguably) the quality service of Medicare AND stay in the best country in the world!
Just wait the three years until you can get MediCare.
Well, there's no doubt that Canada has a far superior health-care system. In almost every category Canada has proven that Universal health care is the better option, and the fact that almost all modern countries have adopted it provides further testimony to that fact.
As to you and your wife immigrating... that's do-able, but time consuming. Yes, if your son became a Canadian citizen he could sponser you.
