How many jobs do illegal mexicans take a year?

lots

Answer:
The fact is that “we,” America’s legal immigrants and native-born workers, are indeed willing to do the jobs that illegal aliens do. Proof of this requires looking no further than the simplest of economic statistics, unemployment. According to analysis the Center for Immigration Studies released in March, in 2005 there were an average of 4,568,000 unemployed legal residents with a high school degree or less, including 723,000 legal immigrants. This statistic doesn’t jibe with the superstition that the illegal alien population has single-handedly adopted the burden of unskilled labor in the United States. Four and a half million legitimate residents of the United States, including many legal immigrants who joined in the May 1 protest, are competing with illegal aliens for work, and losing. In short, illegal aliens are doing the jobs we are willing to do.

At this point, the only way to claim an economic boon due to illegal alien labor is to contend that illegal aliens, because they are undocumented, are not necessarily subject to the minimum wage and can therefore work for less than legitimate residents. However, this is an impossible outlet for defenders of illegal aliens with a human rights credo. It is preposterously self-contradictory to promote illegal aliens rights because the lack of illegal alien labor rights fuels the economy.

Illegal alien labor can offer no significant economic compensation for the disastrous toll illegal aliens wreaks on federal and state budgets each year. Given this conclusion, debating legislation such as H.R. 4437 as a matter of human rights is unsatisfying. Regardless of whether a human can be illegal aliens cost American taxpayers billions of dollars annually. Holding illegal aliens accountable for this deficit is a matter of fiscal responsibility, not human rights.
It does not appear that the majority of people are concerned with illegal immigrants taking jobs.
Vegaswoman, you are right. Most Americans don't care, or else those hateful, anti-illegal Republicans would have won the elections. I think only these fools on Yahoo are obsessed with illegal Mexicans....thinking about them day and night.
None that anyone else wants.
Katsulove contends that native born workers and legal immigrants are willing to do jobs that "illegals" will do but I think that is a load of crap. I do not see any anglos out there working in hotels as maids or in other unskilled jobs, and I highly doubt that she or anyone else would be willing to go out and pick fruit in the fields for 12 hours a day. Come to think of it I just saw a white person standing on the corner selling fruit and flowers... oh wait, that was just an impossible dream.
She cites unemployment as proof but that really only proves one thing; that those without jobs are lazy and expect to do jobs that pay well. For some reason Americans feel that they should not have to start at the bottom in entry level jobs and should just shoot to the top in their field. Maybe that is why there is unemployment.
When legal immigrants and native born Americans start doing these job maybe we can talk, but until then get a job!
It's the kind of jobs and the fact that they are getting paid under the table that's the problem.. I have NEVER seen an illegal scrubbing toilets or fast food (as they say they do).. those places won't pay under the table and they won't work those jobs.. they want the jobs that Americans make $20..or more an hour to do..Americans go to school and learn a trade all their life like construction..they deserve the $30 hour (after taxes more like $20) ..they don't do jobs that Americans won't do...they only do the jobs that Americans desperately need to earn a decent living.. I am sure what the number is but we will never know because illegals can't declare income and get welfare.. and that means the jobs are not adequately counted.
