I have 221(g) refusal for vissa issuance and they told me that they will call me; when?

US embassy give me a blue sheet and give a stamp-"additional processing we will contact you as soon as we get result"-what's that mean? what kind of additional processing they need? and how much time they will take for processing?
I'm from Bangladesh, and i don't understand whether they permanently refuse me or not. I asked them if they need any additional paper, but they said no need.
I want to know that whether they permanently refuse me or not and if not how much time they will take for calling me.Please answer.

Answer:
Additional Processing usually means that security checks were not yet completed or that the security checks and/or documentation you provided need further review. This can takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

And yes they can still refuse you a visa if the security checks are unable to clear you or your documentation wasn't in order or falsified.
I think that it means they are going to check some more info before they decide to approve u or not. I had a friend and there was a coinsidence with her name with a woman who had commited a crime and they made some more researches but then they gave her the visa.
