Question about American Immigration?
First let's put aside what immigration will do to the American dollar basically because its clear - when this law is passed the U.S. dollar with lose 50 percent of its value most likely throwing America into another depression , why politicians wont talk about this is another matter all together . Anyway illegal's want citizenship , but they don't want to earn it . Let me explain because there are some proposals that have been agreed upon it seems universally .
1. Pay a fine . A fair fine would be one equal to the same amount that they are going to use in social services , for their entire life span . The estimates are near 1.2 million . If they had that much money , they wouldn't be coming here .
2. Pass a background check . If I'm not mistaken , by them being here they are committing a crime . That disqualifies them automatically . If they have been here for anything more than one day , that is conspiracy to further an ongoing criminal act . All this happening across state lines and international boundaries is a RICO violation - felonies . They survive with some form of documentation which is fraud or ID theft .
3. Read , Write , and Speak English . Not going to happen . They are already demanding that official documents be bilingual . Next are street signs . But which language do we go to , signs in 62 languages ? I don't think so .
4. Pay back taxes . How do we verify the amount of back taxes they owe . They're here illegally and hidden for years ! How many and at what wage to tax at ? We've already established that they lie , cheat , steal and are untrustworthy .
5. Loyalty Oath - They don't respect this country enough to obey our laws , how can we expect them to be loyal to the U.S. to become a citizen ? You have to be faithful to this country , they can't be when they won't renounce their flags , yet they burn ours publicly . They also send our money overseas for non citizens as well .
Every step towards citizenship , they stumble and our politicians know that there is no acceptable path because they fail every test so our politicans will have to word this bill or make changes to make you accept it . The question is - will you ?

I agree with this whole heartedly, and not as an "opinion". When you look at the books and the stats, you will see that you are right. We may as well open the borders if we're going to give US illegal immigrants citizenship.
Mayn people will argue... "they're so poor... we should help them!" If you compare Mexico to other 3rd world countries, Mexico would be considered rich. They have an abundance of natural recourses. They're government is corrupt and does not know (or will not) do anything for their citizens. That is NOT the US's job. If it was, the US would have to take responcibility for all poor countries and open the borders to ALL.
The US economy is going to * anyways because of capitalism and deindustrialization. We were a producing nation a few decades ago. Now we've took the production overseas and created a consumer nation. The US standard of living is declining. The middle class is also declining. Soon we'll have 2 classes, the RICH and the POOR (similar to preindustrial times). If we allow more "poor" people into the US, this only speeds up the process and makes it worse.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'd rather not live in a 3rd world country (and I don't want my future kids living in one either). We WILL BE a 3rd world country if we have more people than resources (jobs, housing, government aid, etc) allow.
Maybe we should go to war, and take over Mexico. That will probably end better than it's going now...
Why would anyone believe the government when they say they are going to "enforce" all these provisions in the proposal? They never have before. We're being conned.

Yes, well said. nothing else needs to be added except I think your talking about illegal immigration. The legals are following the rules (or trying)
I agree with you. But what can we do when Americans are too lazy to do the jobs immigrants do? Unless they are already here legally, they should be forced to stay here until they are accounted for and fined, and be unable to send money out of the country in the meantime. Then we police the border and say, "No more. We've got enough of you now. But thanks for considering us."

Well first of all when immigrants become citizens or residents they will pay there taxes so we wont go into any depression.
And if we do go into a depression its probably going to be because of the war.I can see them paying a fine but not the taxes that is to much money. Immigrants alredy get paid minnimum wage or less. where are they going to get the money from most immigrants come here to support there family. About the loyalty have you seen the last immigration march how many people did you see holding any other flag then the american flag. Almost none. and also its,"your" money .Immigrants earn that money they dont go around an beg people for it. And also its not immpossible to learn english it might be difficult but not immpossible. And some immigrants know enough to live in America.
I agree with you but I would add 2 things. I have seen several in local stores that have free tax cards. When I asked what they were they said the Mexicans "which ones I do not know" get a card to be exempt from all taxes in our Country. WHAT? Do away with it.
Next let them join our military and do their fair share of fighting and losing loved ones like the rest of us are doing.
Yes. I agree with most of that. Number 3 was a very good illustration of the irony and hypocrisy of the Z-amnesty program. They have to pass a criminal background check - but by definition they ARE criminals.
Many people say: "But they only want a better life!" The average illegal takes out $22,000 more per year in benefits, than they pay in taxes.
So why can't I go down to the local bank, rob them of $22,000, and say, "But I only wanted better life!"

This bill is nonsense. If it were to pass, it would reward, not punish, illegal activity. We did that 20 years ago and the problem got worse. This is a political bandaide for the symptom of a bigger disease. I had a man come to my shop today and show me an obviously fake ID. He admitted it was fake. He admitted to being Honduran and here illegally. And he was stunned, I mean STUNNED, when I called the police. He didn't understand why I wouldn't take his ID and let him apply for a credit card and a cell phone with my company. He didn't understand why it was such a big deal that he was committing a number of crimes. It took the cops 45 minutes to arrive. I even told him what I was doing. He just stood there asking me when I was going to run his credit, on a fake ID with a false social. I see dozens upon dozens of people just like him every day, everywhere I go. They are aware of the fact that they are committing a crime and are happy to admit it. But they are oblivious to how that is wrong. What does this say about their up bringing? Their homelands? Their mental state?? I don't commit murder because it is wrong. I know it is wrong. If I killed someone, I would hide because it is wrong. I wouldn't strut down the street telling everyone I met that being in this country illegally and, already having killed 4 women in my home country, would never be caught. I wouldn't proclaim this to my boss and coworkers, letting them know that if I wanted to, they would die and I would simply move. That's wrong. And yet, that's what a man told me when I visited my father's job. He said that he had already killed and I looked just like them and it was something he had thought about a couple of times. This was his normal conversation! This was like he was ordering a sandwich or coffee! It was normal!
This law cannot pass. If you are here illegally, you must be removed and not allowed back. If you return, you should be jailed. If this law passes, the quiet, reserved Americans that live around these people every day will riot. While I wish no particular person any harm, I know too many that are too tired and too scared of the large criminal element in their midst. If this law passes, people on both sides will be hurt.

I think most of America is not seeing the forest for the trees. They are completely oblivious to the bigger picture that keeps unfolding before our eyes. This new bill is wrong in every sense of the word except for the fact that we are supposed to be the helping hand...give me you're tired, you're hungry, you're poor crap. The bigger picture is we could easily take over Mexico in a heartbeat but that wouldn't be very nice would it. Let Mexico come to us and what do they do when the US has innocently absorbed all of their citizens? Mexico becomes part of the US and part of the North American Union. Why do we want to do this? Simply because of the power in numbers. Hopefully we can grow a lot of corn down there.
You are absolutely correct on every point. The key word here is Demand. American Citizens do not take to the streets and demand a Reward for Criminal Conduct. Besides, this is a problem with no end in sight. The more Border Jumpin Banditos that end up here; The more demonstrations we are seeing. Eventually it will end up, your Car at gun point, your House at knife point and your Family at Rape Point. We are really getting Screwed by Bush and the entire Democrat Party on this one.
