Do we have an immigration system? What we have is very messed up and not a viable system anymore and no one seems do be doing a lot about it. I believe there are more illegals than genuine immigrants. What a mess!
I do in a world where Government actually expects itself to do what it is charged to do. The thing is, Chertoff is a typical ineffective kiss a** politician who is interested only in his own fortunes so is publicly making excuses to support his Boss' opinions/views (W. Bush).
The Dept of Homeland Security is an absolute joke. Only govt would try to correct the failures of bloated bearucracies by rolling them into an even fatter, more bloated, less agile bearucracy!
