Can you please answer this question in the humanistic point of view?
Answer:
If you have applied for citizenship, you are on the way.Hire a good attorney if need be. If you are smart enough for medical school, I am sure you can understand that things take time.Good luck.
You have to "suffer for it" because you broke the law. Period. Simple. No room for interpretation. You broke the law coming here illegally. Actions have consequences-one of which is not being able to do what you wish.
It is ALWAYS wrong to be here illegally and it is your fault now because you are here illegally KNOWING it's wrong. You can no longer blame anyone else. You have made yourself a criminal and are asking us to be ok with paying for your life while you disregard the laws of this country. We'll never be ok with that...ever. I hope you become a doctor like you want to, especially if you have the intelligence and determination to do so. I just want you to do it legally and if that is too much to ask, you just need to leave.
Why do you keep harping on this. If you have applied for citizenship you are no longer an illegal. To those who have not come forth and applied and are here illegally can get ready to get their asses shipped home, not get hired, and many other lengths that we will go to to make it impossible for them to be here without permission. I owe you nothing. I really don't give a damn as to your hardships either. When you come here illegally you are breaking our laws that are set up to protect the citizens of this nation, so there it is.
We need people like you to speak up. Keep doing what your doing. Become a doctor. Don't let ignorant people get you down.
The use of the term active or timid bigot, is suggestive that all are bigots and as a result negates your question!!
Is this metro?
Color, race, ethnicity, religion or culture have little if any bearing in my view that everyone needs to to things in a legal manner. This includes immigration.
As for your argument that illegal immigration actually contributes to the U.S. society, that is total and complete B.S.! It isn't the maner of immigration that contributes to the society, it is the individual people who either contribute or are a detriment to that society. In general, people who immigrate in an illegal manner need to hide and are NOT ABLE to actually "contribute" in a meaningful way.
We do get the humanistic side. It appears to us, however, that the whole world expects the US taxpayer to subsidize what they "cant help, no choice", on and on and on.
Illegal immigrations costs the US taxpayers in excess of $40 billion a year conservatively--this has been studied and proven repeatedly, through comprehensive and detailed studies taking ALL fiscal aspects into consideration.
Perhaps you are all you say you are. That doesn't change anything. What makes you any more or less worthy than anyone else who enters illegally? Being top of your class?? What you plan to contribute in the future?
Do you honestly think that any of the other 19,999,999 illegal aliens in this country are going to tell us that they DONT plan to contribute?
Human nature is contrarian. If I have something good, its because I worked hard and I earned it and I'm worthy. If you have something good, it was sheer luck of the draw.
If you do something bad, it is because of your immoral behavior and bad character. If I do something bad, it is not my fault , it is because of situations beyond my control that forced me to behave badly.
The rest of the world's woes that create 20 million illegal immigrants in this country is going to bankrupt us. And we are sick of it.
All we ask is that you come in this country LEGALLY, register appropraitely, pay taxes and dont be a leach.
That $40 billion is being sucked up by lots of illegal immigrants.
I have no problem with you and kudos to you, I wish we had more kids with your ambition.I agree with you, you had no choice your parents came for a better life and to give you opportunities, you may not have had in your homeland...Just keep striving and don't listen those who would hold you back, I suspect you will do fine!
I agree, I am somewhat of a racist. It is because of what people do. If you come here legally to work, that is one thing. Do not however expect to be taken care of. Learn to speak the language. Do not apply for jobs answering the phone or working in fast food restaurants where I have talk to you unless you can speak English. It frustrates the hell out of me. Do not attend rallies waving your flag. Do not have a skip work day to make a point. What happens in Mexico when you do that? That's my point. Do not come here and expect to be treated better than you were there if you are here illegally. Your country would not do that for me. In your case, I hope you get citizenship soon. At least your are trying to do it the right way.
You think that it is sometimes wrong to do illegal things. So burglary, assault, rape, and murder should only be illegal sometimes? No. The perpetrators of the crimes should be prosecuted every time.
The United States governemnt will not be threatened by criminals to change laws.
I have a great deal of sympathy for those who's economic circumstances at home are so dire that living in a place where they are officially unwanted is preferable. It's simply a balancing-forces type situation: folks like yourselves must continue to try to come here and we must continue to try to keep you out. And if the world in general worked on the issue of economically weak regions in close proximity to stronger regions, then that could be a better long term fix.
But couldn't you just get a student visa?
You admit that you that you are illegal in this country, so you should this country reward you and allow you to be a doctor? if you have the brains, why don't you study medicine in your country, I believe it is cheaper there...!
Yes it does take time to become a us citizen, and you should have waited in your country of origin. I have waited 12 years for a legal immigration status, and now all my children have gone to universities and enjoy being LEGALS...
You complain that you have to wait sooo long to become a citizen? Here's an analogy: It takes a long time to become a doctor. Are you too impatient to do what it takes to become a doctor? Will you try to short circuit that process too? I think you need to start showing some maturity and stop whining about your "suffering". Frankly, I don't believe you're suffering. I have lived and worked in a foreign country(Mexico). They are every strict about immigration! There is NO WAY I was allowed to live and work there illegally. I had to be approved to work there, and I had to pay a yearly fee to Immigration to be allowed to continue. And, it takes 10 years(not 7) to become a citizen of Mexico.
Know this, we don't care about your hardships. We have our own to worry about. Not everyone in America is rich. For those Americans that are struggling to provide for their families, you represent the enemy.
So we don't need to hear any more of your complaining.
Let me start by saying,"Poor baby".Why should'nt you be an
exception? After all you are smarter than everyone else. You do want to be be doctor and make lots of money and buy a beautiful home in your nativeland some day.I have a question for you and I'm positive you have the correct answer. Can you tell me when was the last time that you might have read somewhere that an american was caught sneaking into another country.I am sitting in my den patiently waiting for your answer, please hurry,I'm in my thirties and dont have very long to live. You see, this is where it is.This is where everyone wants to come. Not Mexico or France,or Iran for that matter,it's here baby.People have been going through this process for years, and it has worked for years. The people that have become americans embraced our language, our way of life, and our laws.Let me finish by asking. What part of 'it's illegal dont you understand?
