Why is driving a "right" for illegals.but a "privilege" for citizens?

Answer:
The illegal mexican who hit my mom's car at an intersection also thought that it was a right not to have insurance. It was also a right for the other 4 illegals to jump out of the van and run to the nearest hotel...crazy!!
Because some people in the government have odd priorities.
Because BUSH is kissing the a s s e s of illegals and Americans are tolerating the crap instead of protesting.

Same way they can hold a rally to support an illegal act.
No idea. They are ILLEGALS! they shouldn't have "rights". if they are trying to become a citizen then sure i don't give a crap, but otherwise get the hell out of our country!!!
That is a good question. Let's just chalk it up to political correctness gone wild.
Actually for quite a while it was well recognized that driving your own car in the normal course of life (i.e. not as an occupation or for profit) was a right. At some point this got twisted around to being a "privilege" for everyone regardless.

"The use of the highway for the purpose of travel and transportation is not a mere privilege, but a common fundamental right of which the public and individuals cannot rightfully be deprived." Chicago Motor Coach v. Chicago, 169 NE 221.

"...Based upon the fundamental ground that the sovereign state has the plenary control of the streets and highways in the exercise of its police power (see police power, infra.), may absolutely prohibit the use of the streets as a place for the prosecution of a private business for gain. They all recognize the fundamental distinction between the ordinary Right of the Citizen to use the streets in the usual way and the use of the streets as a place of business or a main instrumentality of business for private gain. The former is a common Right; the latter is an extraordinary use. As to the former the legislative power is confined to regulation, as to the latter it is plenary and extends even to absolute prohibition. Since the use of the streets by a common carrier in the prosecution of its business as such is not a right but a mere license of privilege." Hadfield vs. Lundin, 98 Wash 657l, 168, p.516.

Also google "right to travel."
It must be from that outrageous march where they showed so much respect for our county! I'm so tired of all of this crap but I'm not goung to quit the barrage on the ignorant politicians. If only the majority of Americans would vote, we could change leadership with ease! I guess they may think we don't know our rights but squeaky wheels get oiled so let's start squeaking!
because we are on the backburner. government sees we are pushovers and that they are demanding rights. we need to demand rights and stand up a little bit. but we would probably get shot down and put in our place.
BECAUSE WE RULE!!!!!!!! AND WE ARE GOING TO GET PAPERS TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
In jurisprudence and law, a right is the legal or moral entitlement to do or refrain from doing something or to obtain or refrain from obtaining an action, thing or recognition in civil society. Compare with privilege, or a thing to which one has a just claim.
When it comes to driving there is no difference between an illegal alien and a citizen. They both have the right to apply for a license and if pass it, to drive.
They both have the privilege to drive after licensed if they continue to obey the law that governs driving.

The main reason why in many states that is so, its because if a person can not drive, they in most cases can not work, etc.
Who saids that? show me sources, and get back at me asap.
