I think this whole thing stinks to high heaven!!! U.S. Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean are in prison. The drug dealer they supposedly shot in the butt, was given immunity to come to the U.S. to testify against them, he was never charged with anything, although he was trying to get 700 lbs. of marijuana across the border. Now I read that all the evidence the prosecutor and the Homeland Security personal had was fabricated. This show is not over........Many people are calling/emailing their congressmen to get these men out of prison until all the lies surrounding this case are brought to light. By the way, one of the agents were beaten severely by three illegal immigrants in the same prison, who found out who he was , after Tuesday nights airing of John Walsh's show about this case. So Yes, any jail is inappropriate for innocent people.

Agent Ramos shouldn't have been sent to ANY facilility, the man did nothing wrong! Those responsible for railroading Agent Ramos should be hanged as a medal is being pinned on Agent Ramos.
I think he would have been fine if some dimwit didn't decide it would be a good idea to put him on TV so that all the prison population would know he worked in law enforcement. Were they not smart enough to know they were putting him in danger?
You do realize that if they had told the truth, they would most likely not have gone to prison. *edit* I never said illegals never attacked anyone. You must have me confused with someone else and yes, I do think that the TV show caused him to be attacked. If I was his family, I would already be considering a lawsuit. I am sure they can use the money.

When terrorists are put in prison facility's their heads are covered and they are not identified to ANYONE except those who have a need to know........for safety.
This agent obviously gave his ALL at ONE time. He should have never been outed and he should have been given the same treatment as a "crooked cop" or a "city blowing up terrorist".....he should have had a HOOD on his head.

I believe that the Feds WOULD be that stupid, or be deliberately vengeful and with premeditation, to put a former law enforcement officer in with the general population. I hope Congress is paying close attention to this despicable episode and comes down hard on the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Prosecution of Bureau Officials for violation of civil rights under color of authority? Gonzales? Anyone? How about you Sutton? You happy now? They put a former law enforcement officer into the general population with GANG MEMBERS!!!
When you do the crime you do the time.They should have not lied and tried to cover things up.Hmmm something smells kinda fishy.Anyways, when you have to do jail or prison time you can't pick where they put you.Don't do the crime if you can't handle the time and where it's at.

I am sick to death over this, and cannot even image what the wife's are going thru, not to mention those kids that don't get it..I have been sending my letters in every where and doing my part to get them to have the FREEDOM they deserve for protecting our borders...and update to this just released that "Homeland security agent played a major role in managing the drug smuggler and conduction the Field investigation in the incident that landed our BP officers to land in prison"
