I suffer from terrible Insomnia , so i do the following

1- i relax for about 15 mins then i start reading books

2- i study a lot , try to do things that can improve your life, Insomnia can be a great thing if you can use it in the right way .

3- sometimes i go to watch a movie on TV .

4- go to chat and surf the web for things you wanted to know .

5- if you can do a manual labor " like a hobby or a home craft " , i fix things at my house .

6- if you live in a safe neighbourhood , you can go for a walk & i do this most of the time in mine .

7- you can start a project of any type , something that you wanted to do but you didn't have time for it ...

I am an insomiac. I use the essential oils lavender, bergamot, and rose geranium.
