sweetie, i understand how you feel specially when you started in a new school. my kids came here from the Philippines and the first year they had a really hard time. my eldest son could not walk around the block without other kids picking on him. finally, he had a fist fight with one of them and he WON!! no one ever picked on him again. but it took time for him. thank heavens he has a younger brother and sister so they stayed home together most of the time.
what you can do is join a club in your neighborhood. what i recommend is take taekwando lessons or some martial arts and they will love you there specially since you are Chinese. and it does not matter if you are male or female, knowing martial arts is part of your culture and kids here admire people who take martial arts. it is like a cool thing to do.
have patients and things will turn out well. make friends with other Asian or Hispanic kids. they know how you feel so they will be nicer to you and be friendly.

Middle schoolers frighten the heck out of citizens as well. It's a very hostile environment all around. Please don't base all Americans on kids. They keep saying it's a phase but it sure wasn't a normal phase I ever went through. My parents would have knocked me to the moon if I were to have behaved like I see some youth today. Graduation from school? Heck it's a survival award nowdays........you couldn't pay me to be a kid these days.
