Do you think that serving in the military should be a fast track to citizenship?
Answer:
yea! Being in the military is such a honorable, courageous thing... for ANY ONE to do.. EVEN immigrant who is willing to FIGHT, put his life on the line, for YOUR freedom. So why can't they have the some right as you??
So yes.. i do think they should be a factor in they citizenship process!!
NO
Yes, for the individual who served.
if you want to degrade the fighting effectivness of the military
maybe if you want to create a "foriegn legion" but not regular army
Non-citizens cannot serve in the military.
No!
That loop hole needs to be closed. Its cheating.
Actually, resident aliens can join the military for a fast track to citizenship. If one enters the country legally, wishes to denounce citizenship of their homeland and fight in our military, they become citizens after serving. It should only be for the individual, but the individual will also be in a better position to apply for spouse and children.
It already is.
An honorable stint of service will fast-track citizenship for any legal immigrant and also certain immediate family members(wife and children only, though).
You can also get your citizenship while you serve.
NOOOOOOOO !!!!
Kick the illegals out of here, no deals!!!
If mandatory service is not good enough for our own kids, then why turn the illegals into slave soldiers??
American citizenship should not be for sale !! It should be earned, and there are already procedures to do that.
No AMNESTY!!!!
If they come into our country legally, why not? It gives them an opportunity to meet and work with others coming from all parts of our great land. They may also learn valuable skills, become a patriot and be a valuable asset to our society. Many have done this and many more will no doubt. Sure, it could be an avenue for a terrorist. But that would be a pretty tough road to follow when there are so many other avenues that are much quicker.
yes it better than what there do here still job raise the price of home and gas and low wage for everyone I wish they go back fix there problem in ther eon country but die for bush is even better thank you for asking this imprortant quition love the topic
NO. serving does not mean allegiance to this country... what is the best way for a terrorist to infiltrate our country.. stick him/her right in the heart of our security
No..I don't..even though I've seen movies and read books that says that is what we did here in America. They said people FRESH off the boats were blindly shipped off to war and they didn'
t even know a war was going on.
Ya know..yes it is true that Family is the strength. But our country wasn't founded on "family". There are countless "families" who shipped their ONE kid here to "represent" their family. They didn't get "chain migration". There literally are people to this day who don't know for sure if "their family" got here. When you LEFT the OLD COUNTRY...You LEFT it..NEVER to be seen again . One SHOT..one chance..
It wasn't an ANCHOR in the DOOR it was a STAR in the SKY. These guys have no clue. Never will.
