Realistically, in the US, you won't find "mail order brides". US immigration is much to hard to get a visa from, unless you spend a lot of time and money flying back and forth to Russia. Ultimately you have to prove you have a "real" relationship to get a visa.
And I don't care what anyone brags about "knowing someone" they can get visa's from... the ONLY people who can issue them are the officers at the embassy in Moscow.
And Russian women are not desperate to get out of their country. That is a fallacy egotistical Americans use to try to justify how much better American is than Russia.

Done with the right intentions, in american dollars, I went into it for around 1000 and got out. The chances are if the man is a lot older than the Russian lady she is a Russian Bride, and she has been brought, because women from Russia will do anything to get out of their country, and that includes marrying wrinkly old men who are 10,15 even 20 years old, these women will take anything to get out, once they have been in their adopted country for a few years they will soon divorce the dirty old man. I know one case where this British man married a Russian woman 18 years younger than himself, they are now divorced after a few short married years, and she is now able to work in Britain and thanks to him she has her own flat too.
