BTW, cathy e, you are wrong. There were two bills. One for the fence and one for the funding BOTH were signed by Bush. They are suppose to build it and there is some money to build it but the dems (AKA amnesty lovers) & the GOP (AKA wooses) will never build it.
Never. The government is slow. If they release funds it will be in about 10 years. People who want the fence built can go down and help, and use funds out of their own pockets. Sounds like a good idea to me.
They are not, they are going to repeal the funding of the wall and give amnesty. Just watch and see.
I don't think the democrats will let it happen.They have already changed minimum wages and stem cell. I think that is a good thing.But I don't think they will build any fence.It wouldn't surprise me if they ( the democrats) open the border and let everyone in on a free pass.I hope I'am wrong.

They passed the law, but did not specify how to fund the fence. So, even though the law is passed, there is no money to build it. The net effect was no fence. Any deterrent to stop the massive influx of illegal passage across our border would help. There is no logic in being against the fence, unless you are wanting the illegals to come on in to the US because it is benefitting you. That may be the problem. Big campaign donor cheap labor employers have more influence with our laws than we do, and our politicians seem to be catering to them.
They will not do it. The new congress has already decided not to appropriate the funds for that fence. It is a dead issue.
When China & Japan buy some more T bills so that US can print money.....
