You hire a lawyer who specializes in malpractice claims.
Go get another lawyer, and a good one to represent you.
nonsense.
All an immigration lawyer does is present your application, he does not make a case for you. You've never gone through the process.
If you look hard enough,I'm sure there is some slip-n-fall lawyer that could make you a millionaire.
You can sue an attorney for malpractice by contacting a malpractice attorney. You may have a hard time finding someone to sue for you, though. You can also file a complaint with the State Bar Association in the state where the attorney is licensed. If the Bar decides to investigate, the attorney will have to defend him/herself and can be suspended or barred from practicing law anywhere in the US. Unfortunately, neither suing or filing a complaint will fix your immigration problem in most cases. You can try contacting another immigration lawyer - perhaps one who's a member of AILA - to see if there is anything that can be done for you.
If you really want to sue your former lawyer, the first thing to do is find another Immigration lawyer who is willing to say that you were represented badly and that things would probably have turned out differently if you had been represented correctly. - Get an oppinion from this lawyer in writing. Then talk to a lawyer who handles malpractices cases. - You may also want to talk to a representative of your the state bar association where the first lawyer has his practice if you feel he has acted improperly.
GOOD !!!!!! You must have lied about something , don't blame the lawyer ... We need more of his kind to keep the likes of you out of our states.................
