Probably a hispanic male. The only help I have ever gotten on the side of the road is from a hispanic male. They respect and appreciate woman in a different way than white men do, at least in my experience.
I hope, however, you are not trying to use this as a rationalization for amnesty of illegals. He could do the nicest thing in the whole world, and if he is breaking the immigration law, he is breaking the law. Nothing changes that.

Hmmmm, well it seems to me that you are a friendly 37 year old...so (no offense please) but I doubt it was a much younger person (like the teenager someone mentioned earlier).
You did say he was the "first one"....meaning there were others...so you sound attractive which is why he probably stopped and didn't want money (no offense here either please).

If he was Mexican, he could be Mexican-American. You can't assume that because he's hispanic, he's illegal.
One of my teachers told me one time that there was a truck stalled in the road that caused an accident and he was driving on his motorcycle, and he was trying to turn the corner slowly while looking at the accident and his bike slipped on gravel and fell on him and he was stuck and there were a bunch of people around and the only two people that came to help him were two hispanic guys
the Guatemalans are nice people. they don't try messing with you on the first meeting. they have manners. I've worked with them, nice people. polite.

I was going to Vegas one afternoon from Phoenix and I pulled over to use my cell (as I always do,well this time I did )Four different cars and one 18 wheeler stopped to see if I needed any help.. I find most men will stop and help you whether you need it or not ,but I was grateful anyway.Most people are good if you give them a chance.
an illegal immigrant? Yesterday I went to the bank and two hispanic males entered and asked for someone to speak spanish, the teller that is normally there, was out that day and the greeter was going to send them home. I offered to translate and they were able to use their account. People should be nice to one another. Im glad to hear that you got it changed!

The Hispanic males I've met have been very polite to females. I realize not all are but the ones I've met are polite and gentlemen.

I read all of the answers on this question. I read a good number of answers that were women telling of Mexican men stopping and helping, young probably attractive, women. This is supposed to convince people that illegal immigration is good? I didn't read any that said they were men that got help on the side of the road from a male Hispanic. If you all trying to convince everyone how nice and helpful Hispanic men are, then why are all of these stories young attractive women they are helping?

We have a lot of terrific Latin males here.
It is only the ones illegally here who are a problem.
(Note that this is a catch 22 since we assume all the ones we like to be legal, which naturally means that the illegals are all the ones we don't like...)
