Can a pregnant lady get H1 Visa ??

What is the possibility of getting H1 visa when you appear for the interview with a 8-month-bump ???
(Chennai consulate)
Does it have any effect on the decision ?
Any solutions ?
Pls help.

Answer:
If you are 8 months pregnant, I seriously wouldn't worry about having an anchor baby. You are not going to make it in time for the birth. Even with interviews scheduled, people often still have to wait a little while before they actually get to come here.
I am concerned how you will be making arrangements for your child, another non-citizen to be. Will you be leaving him in the care of family at home? Many people leave their family behind to come here on a work visa, and those who wish to bring their family often wait very long to do so. You may want to think about the who will be caring for your child.
My guess is that they'll make you wait until after the baby is born. Otherwise, they're just encouraging you to have an anchor baby.
I'd say your soon to be child will officially become a US citizen.
