Should all UK airports and seaports have large prisons for those who enter this country illegally?

Answer:
Not a prison - a holding cell block - and a seperate terminal with planes ready to get them back out the country..asap.
No!
If they did then they would be full of anyone customs didn't like the look of.

Maybe you would prefer we had camps to put all Muslims in as the media are telling us that they are all terrorists.
NO. I don't think that there should be prisons at all, especially not in the airports and seaports and certainly not large ones.
Yes Yes Yes...it would have to be run carefully but Yes i agree.
We need something, at least if we did it would stop illegals just disappearing into our society. If they are illegal they are illegal, no ifs or buts.
If they have entered illegally they have already got past the airport/seaport!
Yes. They are criminals and should be treated as such.
There are already holding facilities for illegal entrants. The problem is not illegal entrants, but people coming legally but overstaying their visas - often Americans, Canadians, etc. Another category is people that come on a false passport and then claim asylum - if they declare the false passport on arrival, they are normally allowed to enter the country to pursue their claims (they are not then illegal entrants). If they do not declare the false passport, or if they have destroyed their travel documents, they go to prison for three months - welcome to UK.
I can see no good reason to have prisons for people who enter this country illegally, just send them back, quickly and without appeal.....it's cheaper and releases prison space for our own criminal citizens.
The UK does not have secure accomodation for criminals, or for illegal immigrants ( who are also criminals) .Illegal immigration is a serious crime but many UK people cannot see this.Yes build secure accomodation at all ports, I fully agree
nah
no, why should england pay to put a roof over their head, even if it is a cell. if you come to this country illegally, you should not be granted access, even if your granted an appeal as a refugee. we should have the paperwork in place, before these leeches leave their own country.. if ya havent got the correct papers when you step from the plane, your straight back on it, and back from where you came. charge the goverment of the offender for the transportation of their nationals back to their country.
england is tooooo soft, the goverment need to get a spine.
I believe the airplane or shipping company should be responsible.
No one should be allowed to board without the correct documentation and if they embark then it should be the responsibility of that particular carrier to return them to the country they have just left.
That way the British taxpayer doesn't have to keep footing the ever increasing bill.
No, just turn them around and send them back, and charge their government the fare, and any other expense's, if they come here illegally they are breaking the law, if they get away with that, what else will they think they can get away with?
