Given that people in just about every nation on earth have immediate family in the US, I think many people would care and complain, including those in India and china. To reverse the question, would anybody really care if several hundred million indians were vaporized? Given the population pressures, I think many would be appreciative. Islamabad could clean up the cesspool of a nation real quick.

i believe many other countries would not only complain but would suffer while the world is revamping. So many countries, all over the world, are tied economically to the U.S.A.. Even during the AFRICAN APARTHEID businesses like SHELL SUFFERED and so did the people they supported. Look how the ENTIRE WORLD have been affected by 911. When AMERICA sneezes the world catches a cold. The AMERICAN stock markets and the value of GOLD owned by AMERICA have a direct affect on the value of other country's money, i.e. as the yen(Japan), the cedi(Ghana), the nairo(Nigeria) and others. Many countries would be happy about the demise of AMERICA because we are no longer looked at as

RIGHT NOW, even without IRAN, ISRAEL and a few other countries, I BELIEVE AMERICA and CHINA have enough WEAPONS FOR TOTAL WORLD DESTRUCTION.
As far as would I care, yes indeed I would care. I would like for my dna to live for many generations.Pass generations took care of the world for us, why not us for them! We Americans have our domestic problems ie. race, immigration, jobs, lousy lying presidents etc but these problems can someday be solved and we can LEARN how to have better elections smilesss; we Americans are having our problems with other countries because we have lost our diplomacy, but we could regroup and regain our diplomacy, death is so final; there is no such thing as oops I didn't mean to die and there is noooooo guarantee that the problems that caused us to be nuked would not rise it's ugly head in another country. For instance, if China nukes us, how can the rest of the world be sure that China will not fall into the same trap of greed for money and power as we did and how can China not be fearful that what they did to us won't be done to them by another wannabee master race..
