your right it's stupid and very boring. monopoly is not as boring. my 7 year old plays it and she rakes in the money and property. i how ever find both games boring and to, to long.

I can't play chess at all and die because I lack strategy. However, it is not a dumb game, wish I knew how to play it well. The King is a pawn, the Queen, Bishop and Knight have all the best moves.
Contrary to what you say, chess is NOT dumb & boring. You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine. My opinion is that you should not play chess if you do not want to do so.
Oh I understand the game well enough ,but I too find it boring . I like more action in my board games. I can read a good book and elevate my mind. The King in chess never gets to do anything exciting ...I do admire chess players its just not my game.
