Profiling is against the law and hurt all AMERICANS legal or illegal, But there is always a but and the but is National Security! Laws are not written in STONE and could always change for the better or worst! It applies to all laws.
The FBI and CIA have always acknowledged that profiling is a valuable source in detaining suspects in certain alleged illegal activities!
With George Bush as president, we have to profile all those people since he might screw this country over if he doesn't know another attack is comming, He needs to grow a beard shave it off and decide that when he leaves the white house he should lock himself inside his texas ranch and ride his horses (it's what he's only good at)

It is the "trendy" thing right now. And we have the Bush Administration to thank for it. They have desensitized the public to the term "terrorism", and made it so when someone states the word "terrorist", they speak of someone of middle eastern descent, as opposed to what the word really means - a person that uses fear and threat of violence to persuede people to their "point of view". Again, a very pathetic way that the Bush Administration has destroyed this once mighty nation.

The facts are that some muslims have declared Jihad on the west. They have flown planes into buildings, tried to bomb planes with Shoe bombs, tried to blow up bridges and tried many other things.
If Chinese guys start blowing things up, we should profile them. If middle aged soccer moms start doing it we'll profile them.

You are quite correct not all terrorist are from the middle east.
They are just the ones that we hear the most about these days.
There are many terrorist groups around the world.
Spain has a terrorist group that has pulled off many attacks over the years.
Columbia has a terrorist group called FARC that has killed many Colombians and some Americans for decades.
Germany has fought Communist terrorist groups for years.
The Philippine government has been fighting a Muslim terrorist group also.
And last but not least the United States has not had a shortage of home grown terrorist.
Timothy McVeigh comes to mind.
But the most active terror groups at this time are in the middle east or they are supported from the middle east.
This is why most people are not differentiating between groups.
Not to mention if someone is trying to kill me or the people around me I will not stop to ask where they are from before attempting to stop them.
Well if you ask people that are not brain washed by the media they will come back to actual meaning of terrorist. But then if you ask an Iraqi he/she will either say Americans or Kuwaitis. Americans are terrorist because they defended Kuwait and Kuwaitis are terrorist because they asked the US to defend them from the Iraqi Army.
If you are living in the US then sister i guess you should try to adapt to the idea that most Americans are afraid from Arabs, rest assure now even Jews are categorized as Arabs for what ever it's worth.
But if you aren't living in the US then don't worry soon the Democrats when they take power they'll shift the whole idea to Korea or what ever new nation.
