Yes, they are lying. I call them, e-mail them and fax them. Boxer had all of her fax machines turned off over memorial day. The Rasmussen polls indicate that 80% of the American people are against this bill but they insist on trying to shove it down our throat. They complain about the costs of the Iraq war but do not mention the fact that this bill will cost 5 times as much.
There are many reasons they should be against this bill. This bill will grant amnesty to illegal alien gang bangers if they simply denounce their membership...oh gee like they would tell the truth? They are as big a liars as the politicians.
Yes these politicians lie and if they pass this bill we should immediately start recall proceedings on all of them. That would certainly get the attention of the House and might make them think twice before signing on to this piece of crap.

The Senate adjorned for Memorial Day, with supposedly many Senators returning to their home. If they were still in DC listening to the phones ring, they would being saying something completely different.

Considering the average American's attention span is about 20 minutes, no they are not lying. Sure a lot of people will talk big, but will they actually pick up the phone and call their senator, or write them a letter about it? I doubt it.
Personally I do not care much about the immigration issue. It doesn't effect me in the least, these people are not taking jobs away from me, I have an education, I do not plan on spending 10 hours a day picking lettuce to make my living.
