Is it possible to leave the country for a honeymoon if you have a conditional visa?
Answer:
If you are a conditional LPR, you can use your green card/temporary resident card for reentry into the US. If you are in the US on a K-1 fiance(e) visa, and you have married and wish to travel outside the US, you can request a travel document (advanced parole) from USCIS on Form I-131 based on a pending I-485 adjustment of status application. You may be able to submit the I-131 by making an InfoPass appointment and speaking with an immigration officer. Otherwise, the I-131 can take up to 3 months to obtain. You won't be able to file the I-131 until you have filed the I-485 (they can be filed at the same time).
i would check into the travel agent or ur airline.todays rules have changed alot,i know at one time u could..be sure to check thou..gl
if by conditional you are referring to the CR1 immigrant visa, then yes you have all the same rights and privileges as a permanent resident visa (green card). if you have a K1 then no, not without an advance parole document. if you have a K3, yes.
depends on the conditions and what visa it is. You must file with immigration for permission before you leave the country unless you are a permenent resident or a citizen of the US. This is your only proof that you do not intend to abandon the country.
You cannot leave the country on a K-1 visa without applying for Advance Parole which takes 90+ days to obtain. After you apply to Adjust Status, you can travel freely (for less than 1 year) with your Green card and Passport.
