What is Mexico's official language?

Answer:
You can't get a job in Mexico unless you speak fluent Spanish.

Ain't that a kick?
Americans dont have the ACLU to protect you in Mexico.

Mexicans have the ACLU to protect them in America though.

Makes sense doesnt it?
isn't English an European language???

damn it why can't they speak United Statish in the USA!!!!!!!!
Mexico's official language is spanish, just like America's official language is english. We are not English. We are americans. We speak english because that's where our ancestors came from, just like Mexico's ancestors (at least half of them anyway) came from Spain. Get over this chauvinistic alien thing and learn to accept people from other countries. NONE of us, with the exception of the American Indian, belong in this country so none of us has the right to tell anyone to get out and go home. Our ancestors were welcomed here many generations ago, and we have the responsibility to welcome this and future generations from other countries to this country as well.
Spanish is the national, most prominent language in Mexico.

This is the language a majority of its official business is conducted in and their constitution, laws, etc., are all written in this language.

Hence, if there is an official language, it would be Spanish.
Spanish is not the official language of Mexico. The Mexican constitution states that Spanish is a "national langauge" and due to it's diverse multilingual society. Just the the United States where English is NOT an official language, Spanish is the "de facto" working language of the nation.

The U.S. does NOT have an official language. Constitutional scholars view by declaring an official language it does violate the freedom of speech. Also, having an official language violates many treaties such as the Native Americans Language Act of 1990, and also it can use by some to suppress and intimidate minorities by violating their lingusitic heritage and denying them jobs, contracts, etc.. simply because they do not speak the language of the majority. This is a legacy of European colonialism and the U.S. was founded on principles of protecting the right of Man and his pursuit of liberty and happiness.
spanish
BUT IM NOT SURE!!!
Maybe their operators say, "Press 1 for Mexican" -- NOT
lol
ASK BANK OF AMERICA THEY WILL KNOW
Americans don't have LaRaza on their side or the Irish prime Minister!
As stated, neither one of the countries have “official” languages. You can read their history and find that out.

Regardless if the language of present came from another country… whoever won the war depicts the leadership of the country they won, determines the language the majority will speak. I.E. Spain, Mexico; England, United States…

Regardless if the Native Americans where here first, and the Aztecs were here there, who won in the end?

It’s a sad cruel world of warfare we live in, but that’s how it goes.

Everyone cant speak English in every other country of "European" decent, because the British didn’t win everywhere, and I believe the same should be for every other country. However, now.. things are changing and I don’t think they are for the better.

And on another note, there are many European languages, it would be rude and ignorant to assume English is the only language of Europe.
I have to agree with the other answerer. Go back and take an English class yourself and maybe I can take your ? seriously.
Hispanic people were already in the US, before the invasion of England and after Native American Indians. Therefore, we should speak Spanish as the official language. However, we speak Spanish as the second language. Mexico, CA and S A is worse because the second language is English. Nevertheless, if we are just, the languages of the Native American Indians should be the official language in America (continent)
