Did you see this account of reduced border crossings? Is it temporary?
My problem is that enforcement is DISCRETIONARY with the President's administration. He can decide to tighten the border today and to reallocate priorities tomorrow.

I saw that article and I was going to post it. I'm amazed. I think they might have actually accomplished deterrance, if only for a while. I didn't think it was possible. But I still think there may be a hole somewhere we are not hearing about.
Yes, border crossings may be down right now. But as we all may see, any talk of amnesty, the floodgates will open wide.
Smoke and screens... I will believe it ONLY when it starts affecting the amount of illegals here to a noticeable degree. Why would they do this? To try to mislead people into thinking that they are safe so they don't question NAU that is being created under our noses.
If they pass that amnesty bill tomorrow, it's open turf!

Jail and fine ANYONE who helps an illegal in ANY way!!!!! This should INCLUDE any family/friends of the ILLEGALS, and anyone who RENTS to them!!!
Also, they should seize the assets of the ILLEGALS themselves!!! Since that money they made here is made by STEALING someone else's social security number, and they do NOT pay taxes on it!!!
This is so frustrating!! I wish our President and Government officials would get out of bed with Mexico and protect our people.
