Sponsors using the Form I-134 will need to show that their income is at least 100 percent of federal poverty guidelines as required under Section 212(a)(4) of the INA. The 125 percent you mention is for for sponsors of people applying for Immigrant Visas, using Form I-834.
It depends on the number of people in your household. I have a household size of 7, so I had to make more than $45K a year, which I don't. So I had to get a co-sponsor that made enough to support their family household size, plus my husband. What is your household size?

The numbers are different for Alaska and Hawaii
You have to make at least the amount stated in the poverty guidelines. You need a co sponsor when you alone cannot provide for your dependent.
