How do you deport 11 million illegals?

I am as concerned about illegal immigration as any one else. However I cant understand how people can just say no amnesty just get them out. How? I dont think the illegals should get a free pass either. I would suggest some sort of registration and probation where they have a shot at becoming citizens by meeting certain criteria. Criteria such as paying taxes, staying crime free, staying employed,. A percentage of the taxes they pay being put into classes they can take free of charge to teach english. Just any thoughts or ideas on this would be welcome. I just dont think deproting 11 million people is logical.

Answer:
Unfortunately, I believe you are right. My first instinct is GET 'EM OUT! But that is not logical. I believe if we stopped immigration all together for a few years, send back the ones that can't abide by our laws, They break the law they get sent back... if they are caught here again they go to prison for 10 years.
If you can't support yourself and your family then you need to leave your family in Mexico and stay here long enough to build up some cash and go home to your family. Because I am sick and tired of keeping up hoards of 'family" while I watch mine deteriorate.
You speak our language you don't fly any flag other than the American flag.

No one crosses the border that we can't varify.
Finally, a clear-headed, thinking adult!!! Of course we can't deport 11 million people - we can't even FIND 11 million people. I agree with you that some sort of amnesty is going to have to be put in place - with a requirement to register. There should also be some sort of criteria as you have said.

Then, there must be a true effort at our borders. One that doesn't include armed civilian militias out looking for someone to shoot. I am all for grossly increasing the size of the border patrol and the use of state law enforcement when necessary. A fence isn't going to solve anything. I am truly concerned about the atmosphere surrounding this issue. So many whackos think it's perfectly OK to get a gun and start rounding the illegals up. It's scary!

My brother spent 30 years with the Pima County sheriffs dept in Arizona - and more than a few of those years were tending to the border and assisting the border patrol. Even he agrees that more border agents are urgently needed. He also laughs at the prospect of finding and deporting 11 million people.
That's all fine and dandy for the small percentage of illegal immigrants that would be able to even qualify for an amnesty such as you describe. So many have committed crimes since crossing the border, from fraud and identity theft to drunk driving and other crimes such as theft, drug related crimes, etc. These people would NOT be able to qualify for any kind of amnesty program. Therefore, these people would continue to stay in the shadows as they presently are - do you really think they will come forward to be "registered" when they know darned well that they won't qualify? Come on, get real! As well, I truly believe that most of them do not really even want to become "legal" because they know that then they will have to compete on an even level with legal immigrants and citizens who are more educated and skilled than they are and who know English, etc. and also that now they will have to pay taxes and all of the other deductions off of their paychecks so that they will not end up with as much as they did when they worked under the table. If they become legal through amnesty, they will be shooting themselves in the feet because they will have to move over and make way for the next even larger wave of illegals who will come in to work under the table and take away their jobs. I believe that most illegal immigrants are not interested in becoming US citizens - they come here not with the intention of staying forever, but with the intention of sending money back home to support their families there and/or to build up a nice little nest egg for themselves back home so that they can eventually return home and live very well on their US$ nest egg, maybe even be able to retire early quite comfortably, considering that US$ goes much further back home, in most cases. They don't want to "assimilate" and do not have any feelings of loyalty or patriotism towards the USA. Their hearts and patriotism remains with their home countries. What would make you think that amnesty is the answer when it obviously did not work in the past whenever it has been given - all that has happened each time is that even more illegal immigrants came afterwards. Amnesty has proven over and over again to NOT be the answer to stopping illegal immigration.

I believe most of the illegal immigrants CAN be deported, over a few years, and that by reinforcing our borders effectively with as many BP agents as necessary and then consistently enforcing ALL of our perfectly fine immigration laws, refusing any social benefits to illegal immigrants, including medical care, welfare, and education, and dropping the out-dated "anchor baby" loophole and severely penalizing ALL employers of illegal immigrants, a large number of those presently in the country would deport themselves over time. Police should be required to check residency status whenever they come in contact with possible illegal immigrants in the line of duty - this should be a requirement of all police. I'm not saying we could ever do a "mass" deportation in one day or month or year, but it could be done within 5 years if all of these things were done consistently.
Operation W.E.T.B.A.C.K. (I had to do it that way due to the Yahoo censors blocking it out otherwise.) was done in the 1950s......A massive round up and deportation of illegals. However, I do not think we need to do that today.

If we make the REAL ID an effective ID tool, we can easily identify those who are here legally. THEY will have a REAL ID. Those who are here illegally will either not apply for one or they will be unable to get one.

With REAL ID in place, employers will have absolutely no excuse for hiring an illegal. They will not be able to say they were fooled with a fake ID. The jobs for the illegals will dry up and they will be forced on their own to go home.

We may however, want to provide one way bus rides going south to help them in their return.
I agree, the government waited entirely too long to do anything about the immigration problem. My suggestion would be to them registered. Give them a choice pay back taxes or leave. Those who wish to stay will pay back taxes, those who can't afford it need to leave. Don't mean to sound horrible, but these illegals have taken from the system for too long without contributing. Personally I think its a good idea considering that just being in the country is against the law for them, which means they all should be deported. Also learning basic English is a must, if you can't read a road sign then you don't need to be behind the wheel of any vehicle. And no test in Spanish.
