neither, they both hate America. At least most modern day hippies in california and many in england. So unless all liberals had no control, it would be california but cali. has the most liberal judges in this Country.

Both have a very high cost of living and are bordering on being police states! I moved from Calif. to upstate NY and love it.
It has to be England. Culture; a diverse weather system; some of the most beautiful scenery in the world; Premiership soccer; strongest currency in the world; you can meet a different nationality everyday, but mostly Polish people!; plenty of work, if you want to; the list is endless...
California man. The weather, the size, the ocean, the jobs, the freedom to move within all of the USA. There is no question in my mind. California is the place.

Our beaches are outrageously sweet and the weather is usually near perfect.
If you are of a more conservative bent, move to Southern California but avoid LA, that place is dangerous!
