My husband's I-130 was approved. He has a voluntary departure by Aug. 22nd.How can I stop this from happening
Answer:
1. Most important. Let me ask you a question first: If are having a heart attack, where do you go? Hope the answer is- to the best Heart Institute. Right?
Similarly -for your serious immigration problem, you should be consulting with "Best Immigration Lawyer" and get professional advise based on facts. Here at Yahoo!! you will get conjectures and opinion (like the other idiot who posted some funny form number because he thinks it is funny). Doesn't that piss you off but you asked for it.
2. (Without knowing more), you might be able to get Immigration or the court to reopen your husband's case because if he entered legally, he might be eligible for adjustment of status. And approval of I-130 is new evidence.
So, stop wasting time and find the best Immigration lawyer. You don't have time or the luxury. Now, if you don't have money and can not get money, I can understand why you are restricted to this venue.
fill out an I-4430 and give it to INS
if he is your husband why does he have to leave? do you live in the USA?
