I am in this situation right now. Staying with him in Morocco is not always an option because of the unemployment issues. Many people with PhDs and Masters degrees cannot find work here and if you don't know the language ,it's really hard. I can give you a lot of information, but I prefer not to do it here. Why don't you just stay and Morocco, how do you know your man is not a sleeping terrorist waiting for his call to romp with the 70 virgins (not necessarily all women) when explove as a suicide bomber. I am not sure why hos want to marry Muslims overseas anyway.
A friend of mine married a lovely Morroccan man and he's NOT A TERRORIST!! They had to get a marriage Visa which I think only lasts for about 3 months, then he had to get a work Visa, and he just recently (and it took him four years) became a very proud American citizen. You will be spending a lot of time at the Immigration office because I think they had tons of interviews, and they had to get letters of recommendation from friends on their union to prove it was real. Good luck because it is a long road - oh and I would spend more time with him before making this huge step. You don't want to do all this work just to divorce him, you know?
