I don't approve of any killing, and lets hope it doesn't get to that. But I will defend myself, my family and my country if I have to.
It doesn't make you less of a christian to want to also protect your country. I don't believe you should hate anyone, and we should help others. However not to the extent that is destroys your existence. I believe in protecting myself and my family if it should ever come to that. But I think we should pray that this situation will be resolved before anyone is hurt.
Most antis absolutely do NOT think we should kill people because they come illegally. We just feel our laws should be enforced. About religion, I can't help you, but since it hurts our own poor and our own children to take in everyone who comes illegally, it seems right to me that we should try to help our own, first.
I'm sure Jesus would find a better way. But remember, he had the ability to feed the multitudes with a handful of fish. We are constrained by the size of our schools and the amount of our budgets.

I have battled many times with my beliefs......I still have not found a way to "back pat" those who feel ALL immigrants cross a river and ALL immigrants have destroyed the US.
Perhaps the Best Immigration Answerer Ever has a better answer than the one he gave.
Building a fence is an example of area defense. It is too late for that. We need point defense.
#1. Go ahead with the REAL ID and make a serious effort to ensure illegals do not get one.
#2. Raise the penalty for hiring an illegal to equal the gross income the employer (person or company) made last year. Since we do taxes, we will each know exactly what the penalty will be for hiring an illegal. Most individuals or companies will not risk that kind of penalty to save a few bucks hiring an illegal.
#3. The illegals will be unable to get a job so they will be forced to go home. Since they got here on their own, they can go home on their own. (But we could be nice and provide free busing going south.)
Then the only concern we will have is if Mexico tries to stop the illegals from coming home. I bet they do not want them either.
