Do i need Visa to Ukranie ?
Answer:
No, you do not need a visa for a stay of 90 days or less.
Ukraine introduced a "visa free" initiative in 2005 for members of several countries, including the EU.
See the Ukrainian consular website for specific information:
http://www.ukrchicago.com/consular/engli...
"Please be informed that Ukraine introduced a visa - free regime for citizens of the countries of European Union, U.S.A., Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Norway, San Marino, Monaco, Iceland, Vatican, Andorra, Liechtenstein and Republic of Korea, who may stay in Ukraine without visas up to 90 days."
Advice... travel with someone who speaks Russian, do not take taxi cabs alone at night, do not flash your money around, do not judge how people speak to you (many Westerners assume they are being "rude", but they are simply "direct" in communicating), do not leave your passport in your hotel room, book hotels there and not online before you go (you will save money), and do not drink the water without boiling it.
Also, do not carry a lot of cash. Take a VISA or MC credit or debit card instead. You can take money in UAH, USD, or Euro at most any bank machine - especially in big cities.
Yes you need to get a visa from the embassy in the Netherlands before you leave. I have been told that perhapes you can get a visa at the border but I wouldn't want to go that far and be turned back. I am in Hungary now and would also like to visit the Ukraine.
I would and also contact the US State Dept website to find out the threats that might be waiting there for you.
yes you do, contact the nearest Ukraine embassy for details
