It is good to live in America?
Answer:
Stay in your own country.
I enjoy it.
yes. Though I am very happy with my new home too!
Yes for the most part it is.
It is the greatest place in the world! Come on over. Do it legally though or we will hunt you down and throw you back to whence you came!
depends where
The good news is opportunity is limitless. You don't even have to work for it nowadays, if somebody farts on an elevator you can sue them homeless. What's good about this place is there are so many regions that support virtually anything you wish to excel in. Supplemental income is easy to come by and chicks dig foreigners. But hey, the grass will always be greener...
overall very good place to live.
Yes if you are rich. Otherwise you are on your own.
No I don't think it would be ! NYC is an amazing City to see so is the West Coast, but to much crime, HUGE homeless problems and what sort of a country has such a "have & Have not" mentality, where people are forced to work for "tips" ?
Pros:
*Everything is big
*There's always something to watch on TV
*Good food
*Diverse climate/environment (California, Florida, NY, Northwest, etc)
Cons:
*white Americans are more racist than they like to admit
*People generally have puritanical attitudes
*Healthcare is expensive; if you don't work for a company, then it's nonexistent
*The educational system is questionable, and extremely decentralized. Poor and/or minority children receive much less quality education than children from well-off families
*There's pressure to spend, and being in debt is considered somewhat normal
note: I didn't mention "freedoms" because many countries are just as free
Hey zsnow: "the poor people are fat" comment is so common, it's tiring to hear. D'nesh D'Souza repeats it relentlessly; wasn't it an Eastern European who reportedly told him that? Try coming up with your own original posts.
Honestly, you and I must be describing other countries. The way you described America is not the way I see it: People are NOT friendly and people drive horribly. But then again, I'm in NYC. Maybe you're in a nicer part of the country?
The greatest nation the world has ever known.
Not as good as it was until the 1960's and decades of Democratic leadership, the UCLA, not enforcing illegal immigration laws, taking God out of the public arena, too many politicians not held accountable, too much federal government interference on issues which should be decided on a state by state basis, a liberal Supreme Court.
I still guess it's better than most. We still have our Constitution until the secular progressives screw that up too. They want to keep what they like and change what they don't like.
I enjoy it, but I was Born and Raised here, I have Lived in
Other Countries, so I have lived as a Foreigner.
It will be a Third world hell hole in less than 5 years.Already large parts look like where the pigs came from.
Even with all the hell breaking lose, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
It is still good to live in america when compared to most other places. However it is not the best place to live any more.
I've seen the USA ranked 8th in the world for best places to live.
Canada and Norway are both ranked higher.
Many facts have contributed to the decline: Crime, illegal aliens, high taxes, lower education standards to name a few.
