Why does the security of our borders HAVE to be "comprehensive"?
Answer:
If the government had PROPERLY secured the borders already,
If employers were AGGRESSIVELY prosecuted for hiring illegal aliens,
If illegal aliens were DENIED free health care or ANY sort or monetary assistance,
If illegal were DENIED housing,
We would not be where we are today, facing tens of millions of ILLEGAL ALIENS in OUR country DEMANDING citizenship.
There would be NO incentive for them to come here, if there was no jobs, housing, or health care.
Amnesty WILL SOLVE NOTHING in and of itself.
It solved NOTHING last time amnesty was granted because none of the above issues I brought up were dealt with.
It remains to be seen if it EVER Is!!!

The Federal government is failing to enforce our existing immigration laws. "Comprehensive" is a bullshitt political term that basically means I won't vote for your bill unless you give me a whole lot of stuff that I want for my special interests. It is getting close to the point where voters and American citizens should go out and lynch their 'repersentatives' for playing horseshitt games instead of doing what they were elected to do.
If the federal government won't enforce existing laws why do we need some other dumb special interest law? We have all we need right now.
we also want all illegals deported, like i said, put a $25.00 bounty on each illegal they catch and deport, they'll be turning each other in.
Our gutless congress and president would rather play words games,and try to sneak one pass the American people the same way the illegals sneak across the borders
It is pure and simple blackmail 'we won't address what we need until you give us what we want even though it is at your expense.'

I agree with you and also Dar and ProUSA here, with the additional comment that the government needs to slam dunk the "anchor baby" law.
