Immigration in japan?

is it hard to immigrate to japan? because i read that there are restrictions on the employment of foreign workers
if so, what restrictions?
hope somebody can help

Answer:
Actually pretty hard. I heard on NPR an american of japanese ancestry tried to immigrate, and japanese officials came to his house to see how he lived. They looked in his refrigerator to see if he ate like a Japanese person.

Apparently, Japan has a "no weirdo" policy.

There are some koreans who live in japan, and they're instrusted to dress and act like japanese. Weird...
NO Immigrants to japan wanted the only sane country like China and all of asia---Good for them
