How easy (or hard) is it for a single mom with 2 kids to migrate to France?

Uhh.. I'd like you to ask yourself a few questions before I continue.
Parlez-vous français?
Do your kids speak French?
Considering their ages how well do you think they will adapt to a new country?
Can you support yourself and two kids (since you won't be entitled to get government benefits)?
Do you feel comfortable leaving your friends/family and everyone you know behind?
Maybe a bit better to take a trip to France (you can go shopping in Paris, have a look at the Eifel Tower etc). Euro Disneyland is good for the kids. You can use that to test the waters and see if they're full of sharks.
I think it would be impossible since the last time I looked even single moms didn't have wings or fins. Birds and whales migrate.
