Why don't your parents become American citizens then they would never have to worry about leaving and returning. If you were born here then you are an American citizen. sorry about the stupidity of some people regarding foreigners. My mother and father were foreigners but since they lived in a neighborhood with others of the same background and religion they were never bothered. Americans, like other people in this world, can be very cruel.
I would just say ignore them.

Get out or be tossed out. Illeagle imagrants are cutting the line, I's lie if I were to cut you at the food store in the 10 Items or less, w/ 2 carts of food then have you pay for it. Illeagles are taking away the jobs from Citizens. Mexico doesnt tolorate ileagle imigrants, neigher does any other nation I can think of. Why should the US be any differant?

Chinese is the most "movable" people. Around the world, you could see chinese immigrant at almost every countries. They always believe there are opportunities outside their own countries. But the sad fact is, regardless which countries, there are always discrimination against other race, especially the white against the chinese. I have chinese friends of IT professional whose were doing well in their own countries migrate to the west, ended return back as they can't stand the discrimination for the white.
My advise is, return to your own country and have your pride with you.

your problem, or that of your family, is not rare. Yes, your mother may, technically be refused re-entry to the USA on her return...but, if they (your parents) have been living here for 20 years and are registered with the IRS and other government agencies I imagine they will have, or need to obtain, passports issued in the USA?
If your mother has an American-issued passport then she will NOT be refused entry.
Although it may be of little use in the short term I know the Immigration Service in the USA has offered at times a chance to become 'legal' Next time there is one I would suggest they take advantage of it.
Another 'answerer' has suggested they become legal citizens of the USA. This process is not the easiest, but for them it would solve any future problems similar to the one they face now.
As you were born in the USA I believe that, technically, you are a citizen, so you should have no problems with immigration.
As to prejudice, there's little you can do about that. The ignorant and offensive people who demonstrate this are not fit to be called citizens (of anywhere!) Unfortunately this offensive behaviour occurs all over the world (China versus Taiwan, Blacks versus Whites, Jews versus Arabs and so on)
We are all people, my friend, and the best way of overcoming prejudice is to behave responsibly and by your example, give no-one any ammunition to point fingers (or words) at you or any one of your race.

Africans are the only group that generally came here unwillingly and lived under horrible conditions due to the
evil of other immigrants. USA has never lived up to its promise. Lynchings, murders, rapes, rigged trials, police led murders, death penalty, unjustified jail time, unfair labor laws, neighborhood segregation...the litany of horrendous crimes by whites in the USA (and many other countries) is endless.
Chinese, French, English, Germans and the rest came here to make money and live a better life. Amnesia is their friend.
The best revenge is living better and having your children live even better. Through our lives and our families, we reach through time and finally, a few of us, will get justice.
If your parents are paying taxes then they are either not here illegally of have a fake or stolen SS number if that is the case they should go to prison,and as far as deportation no one wants immigrants to be deported just illegal ones.People know the difference between right and wrong and if you make a wrong decision and it catches up with you then you have to face the consequences.
First off kids are cruel. They will poke fun of anyone that's not like them. Be it that they are imigrants or have glasses. Childhood and teenage years can be hard on anyone who is different.
One has neglected to say how ones parents are being treated horribly. There are some people who believe that there should be no imigration what so ever. Those are not the majority. HOwever they exist and they can be loud. You Mom might be missing her mother. Knowing that she doesn't have much longer and wishing she could see her and be there to help her. Her crying might be her helplessness in the situation. She can't go because he will be able to come back means she wants to return.
For the majority of Americans we have no problems with legal immigration it's the illegals. Your parent went through the system and come here the legal way. Would it be fair for people to decide they are going to move here and that's it. Without the same legal formalities you went through? It's the illegal that should be deported and made to come over the right way. Go through the red tape and the physical that your parents went through.

According to a new lawsuit filed in Washington D.C., native Taiwanese people are actually "US nationals," and should qualify for a US national passport.
That is somewhat different from being a "US citizen," but if they are living in the USA it should be easy to get upgraded to citizenship.

I honestly don't have an answer, but i feel your pain. Some of these people talk about immigrants as if their parents and grandparents were not. Its dispicable how insensitive and obnoctious people are. As far as I'm concerned it is the illegals and the legal aliens that make this country tick everyday. And its the same bigots that say deport them are the ones hiring them under the table to take care of their kids, clean their house, etc. for next to nothing
