Answer:
The main difference would be that in Singapore everything is in English whereas in Malaysia, everything is in Malay. I think culturally Singapore & Malaysia are very similar. You will notice that Singlish and Manglish are very similar too.
People work very hard here. But they also play hard-- there are recreation facilities everywhere & people are always keen to enjoy themselves when they can. It is a safe place & most people are very friendly and warm.

You can always head over to Malaysia during the weekend if you miss Malaysia. I have many Malaysian friends who studied with me in Singapore and most of them really like it here.

Hope this helps & all the best!
If it looks good to you then go. Why drag your parents along?
There are 2 things you have to when you want to migrate here in Singapore, they are money and recognised educational certificates. If you don't possess any of these, then forget it, my friend . Our country want talented or rich peoples.
Sure, tell us how the caining went when you cross the street at the wrong time.
no we have enough of malaysian in singapore already ...
stay home migrate to philipine or some where else.
Many malaysians are currently staying in Singapore, either for work or have since become PRs. The culture in Singapore and Malaysia is somewhat similar, so it's quite easy to adapt in. Probably, you may find the pace of life much faster in Singapore, and it's a lot more costly to have your own landed property in Singapore. But all in all, it's a question of where you feel you'll be happy in. Singapore and Malaysia each have their own unique facets, and are good places to stay in. It's a decision you have to make in light of all your family circumstances.
