Me and my wife just got married and she has a K-1 (fiance) visa. What do we have to do to get a green card now
Answer:
My gosh people, most of these answers are ummmmmmm lol
You will need to now file an application to adjust status. You do not need another visa.
I-485 Application to adjust status is what you are after.
Have a look at the link below for a guide to adjust status. It also contains many links to relative information that will help you understand this process more.

Eep, this wasn't discussed before the wedding? Wait til the last minute much? ;) Congrats though!!
you must be married 5 years before applying. you can apply at the immigration and naturalization office in your city
hi go to legal zoom.com and let me know how goes frankybay@yahoo.com
Read the instructions to thr forms you filled out for your I-129F.
Good question.I would like to know that also.My fiancee is still waiting for his visa.
She files the I-485 application for permanent residency. You'll see in the instructions specific information on what documents a k-1 needs to submit. For example, she does not need to submit a full-blown medical--only a vaccination supplement.
Does she really love you, or the green card,,,just wondering, and if its you, then good luck,,,,,,,beacuse I have seen some really funky couples, and I know for most of them , its the card,,,,
You need to file for permanent residency status with I-485 as soon as you can. You can also request work authorization and advanced parole (if she is thinking about traveling abroad).
You do NOT have to wait for 5 years or anything... There are so many people who DOES not understand immigration laws in here.
I hope this helps.
