Is the U.S. transit visa valid for multiple stopovers?

I have a flight from Doha – Newark (New York) – Miami – Grand Cayman. How does the U.S. transit visa works in this kind of flight?

Answer:
Transiting thru USA unless you have a 24hour visa you are not allowed to leave the airport.

Also what you have is not a visa, your airline is routing you thru the United States. You have no leagal entry permit. and your transiting is based strictly to the airline ticket.
