I just find it a travesty that an illegal is protected by U.S. law when they commit a crime.
You need to learn how to use the English language. There is one freedom that you can exercise if you don't like it here: the freedom to leave and I suggest you exercise it.

If someone broke into their homes, trashed the place, ate all the food, and took everything of value, would it be alright just because the poor thing is underprivileged and worse off than them? That's basically what the Mexicans are doing to us. But I think they would call the police to take the intruder out. It's the same thing really.

No the land is not free. Nothing is free. Well, as for Mexican illegals, i remember hearing in the news some time ago that they were making the fence bigger and adding more cops to patrol it. Not sure if this is going to work, but if they made it an electric fence, then that has a better chance at doing the job of keeping them out. Instant deportation is the answer.
Nuffsed... Many Americans would get their gun and fire BEFORE they called the police to let them know someone was in there home.
