The laws of England & Wales and those also of Scotland are made in parliaments which are dominated by a rabble of elected politicians from among the people.

Presuming you are an American, I do find it hard to believe that dictating to any other country about immigration is fairly rich. The only true Americans are those that you now call the 'First Nations', well those that are left after a bit of decimation. The rest of you are a mixed bag of immigrants with no true ethnic base.
The whole reason you won your independence from us was 6,000 professional French Soldiers, and half their navy blockading the ports keeping the resupplying of British forces from happening.
