They did? That's not right to take out their frustrations on a contestant. It they are upset about the war or about the economic status of Mexico, they should boo and continue to fight to oust the corrupt people in their own government and/or protest Bush like the rest of the world does.

Yes it's all about the dollar. I think we need to look at the deeper issue here. There is a serious problem with this country and others when their people are running away by the the thousands to find jobs elsewhere, and "live the dream". This is disgusting. What does this tell you about Mexico?
No matter the race, ignorant people exist. It is unfortunate that these people try to stay in a country they do not respect. It is most disappointing and it make you not want to give them a chance. I feel sorry for the Mexicans who are trying. Their own people are holding them down.

Most likely. I've never really appreciated their crap, anyway. They don't respect our policies enough to actually gain citizenship and become legal, and when we told them we didn't appreciate them hopping the border and started labeling them with stereotypes that they deserve for doing so, they decided to treat us with disrespect.

It was like a child. However, they aren't purely to fault, as I've heard the media down in Mexico have been making the U.S.A. out to be really bad against them. They seem to even blame us for oil companies "supposedly" drilling sideways in the Gulf of Mexico to steal their oil from their territorial waters, or so says a Mexican politician who got jailed down there, it seems. The media in Mexico seems to blame the U.S. a lot, and the people haven't a clue, elsewise. If something were true, we are not our businesses and ought to check it out, but many there only believe as they are taught. Maybe we need a radio program beamed into Mexico to tell the truth about the U.S.A., like with Cuba during the cold war.

I agree that those who booed MISS USA were compeletely out of line. As far as a whole culture of people
showing their true colors, that wasn't the case. Like in any group, you'll find
some ignorant people. Though there isn't an excuse for how MISS USA was treated, I don't think what happened had much to do with prejugdice as it did with frustration, I'm sure the Mexican population both here and there feel as if it's being singled out in the immigration debate when other immigrant groups like Haitians and Cubans don't always seem to receive the same press for illegally enterning the country as Mexicans and other hispanics from latin Amer do,
There should be a comprehensive US immigration policy that treats all immigrants the same.
the Mexicans have shown their true colors in many many other incidents:
1. they are whole bunch of leeches who don't have the balls to make their own government do things for their own citizens but they have the nerve to protest in the U.S. for their own problems.
2 they have shown that they are not capable of either understanding or respecting the value of education, intelligence, logic, reason, justice, order,
3 For years, they have shown that they have been un-grateful and shamelessly taken advantage of the generosity and naivete of American society.
4 The most laughable protests these Mexicans have held where they flown their mexican flag on the premise of federal/public property have shown that these people have the least sense for class, dignity, and honor
5 Judging by most of those answerers who claimed to be Mexican screamed racist, prejudice, viva Mexico, viva whatever whenever others said things they don't like, anyone with a straight mind can see how small-minded these people are.
