The Democrats are, yes. The theory is that illegals are mostly minorities, and minorities mostly go with the Democratic party. Republicans, OTOH, are selling the Amerian People out for cheap labor.
yes, the liberals try to steal any votes they can with lies. Read the book bamboozled, it shows the lies of the liberal agenda. I dont know why Bush supports this amnesty bill.

I think our economy is more important than a few extra votes in an election. Those politicians who genuinely support the new immigration plan do because they either feel sorry for the illegals or they just want to bring the situation to an end. No one is coming up with a way to get rid of them, you might as well come up with a plan to get the ones here papers and stuff.
If this bill is passed it will give illegals 24 hours to be checked and then become legal. Since our government can't do anything in 24 hours, it means that gangs, criminals and all illegals would become legal. The constitution has been trashed for the sake of big business. The middle class has been sold out.
We have witnessed the most corrupt administration of this century. Let's all pray it will be the last one of this century or America has been invaded and lost, while our troops fight for oil in Iraq.

Sure. Texas got sold out recently on a bill that would require a photo ID to vote. The politicians got it through but later gave another chance for the voting. An ill politician who had been at home even got up to the capitol to vote, and in that 2nd chance vote it failed, even though the public there is like 80-90% in favor of requiring a photo ID to prevent voter fraud!
Supposedly, the lack of voter photo ID would increase the democrat's votes by about 7%, I've heard.

That is exactly what they're doing. Besides that,i'm sure money changes hands between polititions,it's profitable to sell out the country.

They're selling America out period. It's in the interest of promoting globalization. I firmly believe that they are anti-nationalism otherwise they would not support such a plan. Ever notice that nothing has ever been done about the immigration problem despite the political party we have in office? Republican/Democrat - the situation never improves. That's why I don't trust most front-running politicians. Ron Paul is the only candidate that I trust. He is very anti-Amnesty and against rewarding people for breaking the law.
Not future votes. They want them to vote illegally, not just work illegally. It's the only hope the Dems have for taking Texas back from the Reps since so many Hispanic Americans stopped voting straight ticket Dem in this state.

They have different reasons for selling us out. For many it is due to large PAC contributions associated with big business, I suspect.
