It is possible for a Mexican to get a SSN. My fiance is Mexican and through his education visas, was able to obtain one, which is making his legalization process much smoother.

We have a population of about 700000 people here and of that 700000 people 695000 are hispanic here, these people help there cousin, moma, sister, brother, uncle, and every other illegal get assistant. They live in government housing, get welfare, get mortgages, get food stamps, wic, and every other assistan americans get, you know why? because the Hispanic populations here shows them how to beat the system to get the free stuff. To be able to apply for welfare you need a ssn or a tax id number wich means anybody regardless of immigration status can apply for a tax id number.Hence they can apply for welfare.

well, plenty of the illegals have a illegal ss number and get the benefits. But aside from welfare, there are other benefits which illegals can get. if they go to a hospital, they have to be treated which is causing a huge problem with the health care system. There are all kinds of people trying to push for beneifits for illegals in many states which i think is wrong.. Hopefully people will step up and stop the madness and remember illegal is illegal.. no beneifits for you!!!!
Did you know that illegal immigrants often have children born here that do have ssn's and with off the record income can claim any need level they choose to get aid to dependant families as well as food stamps 'for the child'?
Did you know that illegals often have ssns to work that are fake or stolen and that many states don't have the facilities to check their validity when giving out benefits?
Did you know that the agriculture dept (for whom many work, and who 'makes' food bought by the govt for food stamps) has advertisements in Spanish saying all the things they could be entitled to?
