Many DO try to come here legally. It's like a game with our government - pay us thousands of dollars, wait for years & years & then let us deny your visa with no valid reason or explanation. How dumb do you think illegals would have to be if every single one of them kept doing the same useless process over & over again? They're smart enough to get the word out that to try to come legally is a waste of time & money. That's why they take the money they would have paid to the government & pay a coyote. If they are strong enough to survive the perilous journey they can be here in a couple of weeks rather than a few years. For people whose families are starving & living in below poverty conditions that seems the only feasible answer.
where do you get your information. They live better than US citizens, and since when do they run and hide from the police?. They have more rights than me. Get a grip dude, ask an answerable question next time.
I think people will do anything to obtain money, if they get caught,it would have to be a serious crime,to deport them.otherwise,there is no big fear.
I don't think a bank robber would rob a bank if he could get the money legally.
I dont think they care. THey absolutely understand that--once across that border--the flight and the fright is over.
Once in this country, it is getting paid under the table in cash, pay no payroll taxes, live 20 to a trailer, and get free healthcare at the public hospital (and clinic), the protection of the police and fire dept, free education for the kids, and handouts from the united way, salvation army, food pantry, good will etc.
They simply don't care about their illegal status because once they are here, their status is simply not relevant to their lives.

Inhumane conditions? They're living way better here then where ever they came from. They don't want to be here legally because they love the countries that came from so much that they can't waving their flag around whenever possible. I can't take one step outside my door without having to hear Viva Mexico! Well I've got news for you, this is the United States of America, not the United States of Third World America!
Uhmm...literally, YES!! They become illegals because they decided to be illegals by coming to the US illegally :-P . If they think that they are living or working in the US under inhumane conditions, they have the CHOICE to leave the US. Hence, theychose to be illegals.
They choose to break our immigration laws.

I also don't understand why they claim Mexico is all so bad, then we're paying thousands of dollars just to lay on some sand in Cancun? That's bull that Mexico is all bad because there are some pretty pricy places there to go, and they're not filthy there either. Maybe they're using the filthy parts for an excuse also????
About 10 houses down from me is a lady living with a boyfriend, well, he's living with her, He's an illegal and he openly admits to it! He also deals cocaine in my area. Never had a problem around here until he turned up.
Not all illegals live under inhumane conditions. Some live very nicely and some live off the tax payers.
Don't be an idiot . These illegals have a choice. They choose to come here by breaking our laws. Then they have odasity to demand that we give them citizenship. What balls they have, huh? They know how to use our own guilt to get what they want because the liberal news media and our left-wing congress supports them. It's good to be Mexican or an Islam is terrorist here instead of a red blooded American. We get taxes and they get the benefits. What a deal, huh?
Why should they go to the trouble ? The government has allowed them to move in and set up camp here in OUR country, with very little fear of repercussions. In this state, the two I.N.S. agents cannot process all of the illegals, so most police forces are told to release them.
Inhumane conditions ? B.S. I know of three Mexicans, here illegally, that drive much nicer vehicles than I do, because they
can afford them, since they get paid under the table, and certainly don't pay income taxes.
It must be nice to receive services from the US government, but not have to contribute toward those services by paying taxes. Live in terror ? Hardly. If you really think that, come to Alabama, and I'll show you several spots where they congregate for day-labor work. They're not hiding from anyone.

I'd say lets give them exactly what they want. They want citizenship? Ok. We take Mexico and make it a state. If they don't like this? Tough ****, we'll do it anyway. Just give Congress a buzz buzz to declare war on Mexico. They want citizenship, then we get Mexico. No if's ands or buts about it.
You are right my dear. No one wants to be illegal. No one wants to live the way they do. If it was easier for them to be here legal they would do so. If it were up to them they would be at home with their families, in their own countries. If they had half the opportunities that we do they would never risk life and limb to be here.
There is a reason they have to run and hide, it's because they are illegal. I would like a million dollars if I had the choice, but the cost of getting caught is not worst the crime.

Why are so many people running into our country if they consider it such a bad place to be "living in terror"? Why not stay where they are and wave the flags of their countries in their countries?
Do you have a clue what the costs are to US taxpayers in terms of social programs, health care, court costs, etc.? We need to take care of US citizens (especially our Native Americans) before we try being the Welfare state to the world.

thats really the only question that needs to be answered. nothing is stopping them, they just dont want to take the time to do it, unlike the 2.8 million legal immigrants we grant citizenship to every year.
yeah, it might be hard.. things in life arent easy, but it shows that you want to respect our laws.
Most probably would rather be legal but some just don't care.I do wish that their own government would do something to help their citizens instead of making the US pay for their problems.
Who made the choice, aside from them, to become illegal? They don't have to live as criminals, in terror...they CHOOSE to. They choose to disregard the law and we aren't obligated to feel sorry for them or change our laws so they can better take advantage of Americans...nice try though.
