YOu are happy the amnesy bill didnt pass?

if youre congratulations..so when do the mass deportations begin? I mean its cool that you dot want 12million illegals.thats its really great..but now you have to really show you dont want them an kick them out...cause otherwise it just seems like you just wanted them to continue working underground and profiting from them.you know what I mean?

Answer:
While I'm not American I'm actually glad that it didn't pass. If it did other countries would be under pressure to make their illegals legals with a pay off. Last thing we want is every country to make their illegals legal just because they've managed to stay there for about 6 months and want to stay.
I am extremely happy that we did not compromise ourselves to the illegal immigrants wishes. The illegal immigrants need to return home and re-enter this country legally. I am quite sure our country will quickly allow many of them to become legal residents and future citizens of this country if they will only do so legally. We Americans do not oppose immigration. We oppose persons illegally crossing our borders, using up our resources(goverment money), and not being a real part of our community with the intentions of integrating themselves into our communities.
I'm glad that it didn't pass. They need to do it legally
I don't live in america but I hear about all the crap that goes on in your country everyday.

I think that the US should close it's doors to immigrants temporarily until they sort out all the problems with their current policies. Too many people are taking advantage of loopholes and slipping through the cracks in the system.
I am happy the American peoples voice was heard. If you have been paying any attention lately, there has been double the amount of illegal immigration raids this year. I believe our Government has gotten the word , that all we want is someone to enforce the laws we already have, not make up new ones to ignore.
One thing has nothing to do with the other.

The people who were supposed to be overseeing the security of the border and deportation of those who illegaly crossed that border, as prescribed in the wording of the last amnetsty bill, wanted Americans to believe they had any intention of following up on the border security and deportation portions of this new amnesty bill.

They found out that Americans are not quite that stupid.

Read the text of the source. All the things they say they will do in the new bill they have refused to do in the 1986 bill.
I'm not happy, I'm exstatic(spelling)
I,m Glad illegals, weren't rewarded with Amnesty.
I am quite happy that the bill didn't pass. I just want our laws enforced and the illegals deported from our country. The USA is not a welfare country and we don't owe the entire world the benefits of our nation. Those who immigrate here legally are welcome but the ones who try to sneak in illegally are not welcome. I just want us to know who is in our country and lessen the chances of radical Muslim terrorists entering our land through unsecured borders. We have definitely got to follow up on those over staying their visas and keep our inhabitants legal. ICE is going to have to do their job and be backed by our federal government. The people are very much supportive of this agency! We as a people are going to have to be alert to these illegals, too.
We have the internet now, no more slipping laws & legislation through.
Unfortunately, those of us who are most hurt by illegal immigration can't enforce the laws ourselves or we would have been doing it all along. We don't want to 'profit' from them, we are the side that would be taking those jobs for more money and benefits if their being here hadn't dragged down wages. Our children's schools are failing, our hospitals are closing, and the services we have funded to pay for our families and ourselves in old age or an emergency are being drained.

I think that if we stop the problem going forward we might be able to have a conversation about those here already, but our government/big business/big labor which DOES profit hasn't been willing to stop the problem. They just want to PRETEND they are curing it, while making it worse, so they can profit even more.
I am neither happy or sad that it didn't pass for discussion. People were trying to make our officials make a hasty decision without really looking at the current failures of enforcing the current laws.
The bad thing is that they are going to homes of illegals with no criminal history. They are not going to the "barrios" of known gang affiliates and cross checking criminal databases for know criminals that have committed crimes in the US. The are doing a deportation like ducks in a barrel scenario. Many children are now one parent or both parents less and are now in care of the US government or local Social Service care (their guidelines state that to care for one child it costs approximately $800 to $1400 a month including medical multiply that by 12 makes total cost for American born children prior to 2006 in care of SS's is $16,800 per child). Me personally, I think the local INS and police are too scared to go where the real criminals are first so instead - to appease the masses - they will deport the easiest to catch. Lazy! Get the worst out especially those that are abusing the system first then decide about a generalized amnesty bill for those that pass a criteria such as taxes paid more than 5 yrs and continuous work history during that time with no assistance from Social Services in any state and clean criminal background. You may dissagree but our federal government will not do anything that might be "easy" they just do things that makes the American people happy for a while to let the heat cool off and use the smoke screen to do what they want to do. Keep your ears and eyes open and don't let the "smoke screens" fool you.
Absolutely. If it had been a bill that would provide for closing and securing the borders, send the illegals back to their home countries to wait and apply LEGALLY for citizenship; a bill with NO hidden plots, I would have been all for it.

They are using the excuse that because the bill was defeated, they can't secure the borders. Don't be fooled. Closing the borders doesn't fit into the plot for the "merger", the North American Union. There was a section on that (SPP) in the billl. So, yes, I am happy it didn't pass.

When they try again, we need to demand that they actually READ every word before they even start to debate. In the meantime, keep after them to enforce the law from 1986... you know, the one they say is "not enforceable".

<...it just seems like you just wanted them to continue working underground and profiting from them> The only profit is for the corporations who make the rules/laws for the NAU.

Read it for yourself.
