How old do you have to be until you can work? how many hours?
Answer:
i came into this category to answer some immigration question and once again I see some person asking something that has nothing to do with immigration.
Most states you have to be at least 16. Some states under that require a work permit. As far as hours, the standard is 40 hrs a week. Under that is considered part time and there would be no benefits
That would depend on which country you live in.
Some of us don't live in the USA.
In the US,
16 is normal; 14/15 for agricultural work (farms, nurseries), 18 to sell beer I think.
Not sure about hours, you can leave school at 16 so I don't know that you are limited in this as long as your teachers don't complain about falling grades, falling asleep.
in the uk you can work from 14 but i am not sure of the exact hours you are allowed to work.
Ask at your local citizens advice bureau, they will tell you all you need to know.
