Real change is difficult, at best. The "amnesty" bill is not a good analogy.
Who are "they"? some people are not from a democracy and if they stand up to anything they are killed. I am from the US and I am sick of illegals, however I can understand why they run and cannot stand up. They don't have the same options of voting and all the rights we do.
maybe if america would start helping the countries that are CLOSEST to it and stop going to out-of-this-galaxy-third-world countries to help THEIR governments, then the latin american countries could get back on their feet and you pinches americanos wouldn't have to complain about the immigration issue because there wouldn't be one..

The Mexican government has been counterfeiting U.S. currency for decades. This mioney is used as start-up cash by illegals. The Mexican government knows that they will get plenty more in return.
Because they are too lazy. They want some thing for free, and their government does not give it to them for free. Being a coward also probably plays a big part too, I mean , they rather illegally enter the US, knowing they will be a criminal, than stand up in their own country. They would rather steal here in US. What really made me mad, last election in Mexico, ones here were allowed to vote in that election, now is this crooked are not. Makes me wonder if the ones that voted there , manage to vote in US also. We try to vote in two different countries, and we can get in trouble. I also sent email, faxes, called and everything I could think of, every other day, sending messages some how, to express the fact that I was against the amnesty bill, my state Congressmen, and women voted against it. Bottom line is, they are just lazy criminal freeloaders, all they have to do here is walk in and get all the benefits, they have to actually work for it in Mexico. That is the difference, why fight for it when you can get it free. Deport them all !!
If the drug dealers can do it ,why can't the rest of the country they must be in the millions to take on this problem. With changes, Mexico can be a thriving country.

I have been asking myself the same question.It is easier to sneak into the states and complain about how terrible their life is then to have any courage and stand up to their corrupt government. Where would America be if we didn't stand up for ourselves?

Our history is one of standing up against our government .
In the Mid 19th century half the nation stood up to the other half and lost a way of life .
The Bible belt as it is known today was not the only slave holders in The growing united states .
The north was much more brutal in its campaign against the south looting raping and burning cities as it moved .
Overwhelmed by the violence the south was attacked with the same tactics used against the Indian nations .

The south has never fully recovered its lost wealth or labor force until immigration from Mexico brought a new wave of cheap labor .
Then during the depression once again the north declared war on the south and demonized marijuana ands it use by Mexicans once again forcing the south to lose yet again another cheap labor force .
Today knowing the problems the south would face losing manufacturing jobs if another wave of immigration was turned back the Wealthier North began a policy of moving the jobs outside the United States .
From the seventies on a war has raged in this nation just under the surface . Those who own the land verses those who must work and obtain a small piece of it .
With just 1% of this nation owning the land its not hard to understand that we are held in a kind of slavery in this nation today . With an average of 7.54 acres per person left stacking people becomes the best use of land . Its been in practice for centuries and the first families to get here claimed land and the rich industrialists bought land . The government taxes land . Land is the key to wealth .
We have a growing problem and it is getting worse and because of the Bush policy of spending we face a dramatic loss in the value of the dollar world wide and soon we will be in a great depression . This will force the sale of land and foreigners will own even more of America .
The people in power at the top do not think of the land as freedom but a commodity to be traded and profited from .
Its not important who owns this land just that they pay taxes on it and abide by the law .
AS long as the government controls an army it is safe from any attack even financial as it changes and enforces the laws it wants .
So with our nation having the largest police force and military tell me when we will be standing up to it as a nation .
We elected the democrats to end the war and nothing happens .
We elected the republicans to ban abortion and put prayer in schools and nothing happened .
Its all lies and those people who run for office do so because to control the game is to make some of the rules and by doing so increase ones wealth . After all they say money can't by love .
